CARLSBAD., Calif., March 6, 2024 – Viasat, Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT), a global leader in satellite communications, is making it easier for residential consumers to get connected with one simplified plan: Viasat Unleashed. With its new plan, Viasat continues to offer fast, reliable internet service – up to 150 Mbps in select markets – along with the data customers need to stay connected and do more of what they love—streaming video, chat with friends and family, email, online shopping, and more. The Unleashed plan offers reliable, unlimited high-speed satellite internet without an annual contract at a great price and directly competes with other residential satellite ISPs.
New features of the Viasat Unleashed plan are made possible through network optimization with the goal of delivering a more consistent, enhanced user experience to more customers. The new plans are a testament to the company’s mission to connect the unconnected and commitment to deliver the best possible residential internet experience.
“Our new residential service plan provides exceptional value to better meet the needs of our customers. As we continue our mission to connect the unconnected, we are delighted to introduce a single plan that significantly enhances the home internet experience,” said Jason Sophinos, vice president and general manager of U.S. broadband at Viasat. “This plan offers more consistent speeds and provides the necessary data that our customers demand, all at a competitive price—and without the hassle of an annual contract.”
Viasat Unleashed will include:
- Unlimited high-speed data *
